Chapter 614  Urgent Meeting

Villain Ch 614. Urgent Meeting

Allen and Vivian emerged from their changing rooms, transformed back into the familiar realms of everyday clothing. Allen sported his casual combo of a well-worn t-shirt and jeans, the dark king's armor traded for the comfort of familiar threads. Vivian, in her signature dress, radiated a sense of elegant simplicity that contrasted with the fantasy they had just left behind.

They strolled back to the photographer. The camaraderie between them was evident. The photographer couldn't help but crack a sly smile. "Well, well, look who's back to their civilian selves. The Dark King and the Elegant Priestess in everyday attire."

Allen chuckled, giving Vivian a playful glance. "Yeah, time to rock the ordinary."

The photographer joined in the banter, a glint of mischief in his eyes. "You two do make quite the pair. I hope the chemistry translates on camera as well as it does off."

Vivian blushed, a subtle shift in her demeanor at the mention of their chemistry. She couldn't help but remember what happened during the early session of the photoshoot.

Allen chimed in, "Well, we're a dynamic duo, what can I say?"

Feeling nervous, Vivian shifted the conversation to the business end of things. "When can we expect the photos to grace the pages of the magazine and the website?" she inquired, a tinge of anticipation in her voice.

The photographer, still grinning, replied, "Maybe at the end of the month. As usual. The website should have a sneak peek sooner. We'll make sure to give you the heads up."

"That's awesome. Can't wait to see the final result," Allen said, exchanging a glance with Vivian, who nodded in agreement.

The photographer, sensing the relaxed atmosphere, seized the opportunity to tease a bit more. "You know, you two seem like more than just models. There's a certain intimacy in the shots. I wouldn't be surprised if you were moonlighting as a crime-fighting duo or something," he teased.

Vivian blushed again, a bit flustered by the comment.

Allen, playing along, threw in a wink. "Well, we do have a secret handshake, but that's strictly classified."

The photographer's enthusiasm bubbled over as he voiced his hope for future collaborations. "I really hope we can work together again. Your chemistry is magic on camera."

Allen joined in, "Absolutely! We'd love to. Maybe we can even hang out, take some nature or cityscape photos together. It's been too long since I've hit the road with my camera."

A wistful expression crossed Allen's face as he mentioned his camera, a longing for the simpler days of solitary photo adventures. "I miss those rides," he admitted. 'But between the writing and Hell's Gate, the days just fly by,' he thought.

The photographer, sensing the genuine sentiment, chimed in with an understanding smile. "No worries. Whenever you're ready, we'll make it happen. Great working with you two!"

With smiles exchanged, the trio bid their farewells. Allen and Vivian left the room, leaving behind the creative space.

The corridor stretched out before them, and Allen and Vivian strolled down it with a sense of ease. The clock on the wall silently confirmed that it was past noon, and the office building had transformed into a bustling hive of activity. Staff members, most likely returning from lunch or heading out for a bite, passed by with casual nonchalance.

"So, any cravings for lunch?" Allen asked, his hands tucked into his pockets as they walked. Vivian, her eyes scanning the area, considered the options.

"I'm thinking of something cozy. Maybe a nice café," Vivian suggested, a playful smile gracing her lips. "Any preferences?"

Allen pondered for a moment. "Well, I could go for something hearty. Maybe a burger or a sandwich."

Vivian nodded in agreement, "Burger it is. There's this charming café nearby that serves the best burgers. It's got this rustic vibe, very laid-back." They had reached the elevator. Vivian continued to share her culinary ideas. "I also heard about these futuristic cafés where you can book a private room, order food, and play games. They sound fun!"

Allen chuckled, "Sounds like a plan for another day. But tonight, we've got a war in Hell's Gate. Let's keep it relaxing for lunch."

The elevator doors opened, and they stepped inside, the metallic doors closing behind them. Vivian suggested, "How about that café around the corner? The one with the cozy nook at the back. It's got a great vibe."

Allen, leaning casually against the elevator wall, considered the suggestion. "Sure, that sounds perfect. A relaxing lunch before diving into the virtual battleground."

The elevator doors opened, revealing the ground floor bustling with activity. They stepped out into the lobby. The distant chatter filled the air. Their footsteps echoing in the lobby, Allen's eyes caught the glint of polished surfaces. With a courteous nod, he approached the receptionist, a friendly face stationed at the front desk. "Hey, I'm returning this. Thanks," Allen said, sliding the new employee ID card across the counter.

The receptionist, offering a warm smile, replied, "You're welcome, Mr. Grayblight. If you need anything else, feel free to ask."

Allen acknowledged the offer with a nod before turning towards the lobby's glass doors. The sunlight spilled into the spacious area, casting a warm glow on the sleek interior. Vivian, by his side, they began to walk to the parking lot.

Their casual conversation was abruptly interrupted by a hurried figure rushing towards them. A man, slightly out of breath, addressed Allen with an urgency that caught both him and Vivian off guard. "Excuse me, are you Allen Grayblight?"

Allen's brows furrowed in mild surprise as he replied, "Yeah, that's me. What's up?" n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

The man, still catching his breath, explained, "I'm from the security desk. Your mother, Carla, requested a private moment with you. It seemed urgent."

Confusion etched across Allen's face. He hadn't disclosed his recent stint as a model to his family, and his mother had never indicated any intention of meeting him here. "My mom? Are you sure about that?" he made sure.
